Fritz Schaefler

In 1920, Prien am Chiemsee became Fritz Schaefler's new home. He moved into "Haus Ried", which belonged to his mother-in-law, the writer Clara Ratzke. Inspired by his fellow painters and the southern Bavarian backdrop, he creates expressionist mountain landscapes.
